You may need a DSL microfilter depending on the type of Openreach wall socket is installed at your home.
Some Rebel Fibre customers require a DSL microfilter to connect the Openreach wall socket inside your home.
DSL microfilters are necessary when the Openreach wall socket already installed at your property is the old type of wall socket pictured below.
Rebel Internet will send you a DSL microfilter like the one below.
Connect it directly to the Openreach wall socket. Then, with the small RJ11 cable that came with your Rebel R1 Router, connect it to the “Modem” or "ADSL" port of your microfilter, and connect the other cable end to the DSL port on the back of your Router. You're now ready to enjoy your Rebel broadband!
