How do I set-up Port Forwarding on my Rebel R1 Router?

Not to fear! This can be achieved directly in your Rebel R1 Router’s GUI.

Follow the steps outlined below to enable general port forwarding on your Rebel Router.

First, connect to your Rebel Wi-Fi on your device, then log in to your Rebel R1 Router’s interface (GUI) here: http://192.168.40.1/.

The password is the last 6 characters of your Rebel Router’s serial number, which is located on the back of your Router here:

  • In the “Use Interface” drop-down menu, make sure “all Interface” is selected so that your port forwarding applies whether you are connected via Wi-Fi or Ethernet.
  • Select the service you want to add – the Rebel R1 Router has an extensive list of services and games pre-saved, these will automatically populate the following steps. You can also create a custom service.
  • In the table below, specify your External Port “Start” and “End” values, the protocol you want to use, and the Internal port “Start” and “End” values.
  • Once you’re done, don’t forget to click on the “Apply/Save” button for your change to take effect.
