Is Rebel Internet compatible with care alarms?

Whether it needs a landline or not, your care alarm will work with Rebel Internet.

Rebel Internet offers voice-over-IP (VoIP) phone service, called Home Phone, which is compatible with care alarms that require a phone line to work.

All you need is our Home Phone service alongside your Rebel Broadband. You can add Home Phone to your package on sign up, or any time after you have activated your broadband, via our Rebel Internet Customer Portal

 

To connect your care alarm, simply unplug the cable connected to your phone wall socket, and connect it to the TEL port located on the back of your Rebel Router. That's it! 

Some older care alarms may not be compatible with the VoIP technology. Your alarm provider should be in touch to replace your device with a newer one that works with VoIP. If that is the case for you, contact your care alarm provider and ask about upgrading to a VoIP compatible device. You can also always get in touch with us any time, our team will help you.
