What is Fibre-to-the-Cabinet (FTTC) Broadband?

FTTC is Broadband that can deliver speed up to 80 mbps, depending on how far you are away from the local exchange

Fibre-to-the Cabinet (FTTC) or copper is a broadband service that uses fibre optic cables to connect the local telephone exchange to the green cabinets (known as street-side cabinets) that you see on the streets. From there, the signal is delivered to your home using traditional copper wires. FTTC can deliver speeds of up to 80 Mbps, which is fast enough for most household needs.
