How do I connect my Rebel Router?
Follow these simples steps to connect your Rebel Router
What you need
Your Rebel Router requires just two cables:
- Power cable
- Data cable
All routers arrive with two data cables. The one you use depends on your broadband package.
If you have Rebel Fibre (up to 80 Mbps)
Use the small RJ‑11 cable to connect your router to the Openreach wall socket.
- Plug one end of the RJ‑11 cable into your Openreach wall socket.
- Plug the other end into the DSL port on the back of your Rebel Router (left side).
If you have Rebel Full Fibre (Rebel 115, Rebel 330, Rebel 1000, etc.)
Use the larger RJ‑45 cable to connect your router to your Openreach Optical Network Terminal (ONT).
- Plug one end of the RJ‑45 cable into the LAN port on your fibre wall socket (ONT).
- Plug the other end into the red WAN port on your Rebel Router (right side).
Final step
- Connect the power cable
- Turn the router on
Your Rebel Router will now begin its startup process!
