What do I do if my Wi-Fi is dropping regularly?

Follow these simple steps if your Rebel Wi-Fi disconnects frequently.

Rebel Wi-Fi Initial Setup

A few days after your Wi-Fi is connected, you may notice the speeds or Wi-Fi is not connecting as well as you'd expect. The broadband line needs a few days to settle and your home network is applying its first optimisations. This will ensure that long-term all your equipment and connected devices get the best experience out of your Rebel Wi-Fi. The initial optimisation usually takes a couple of days, make sure all your SuperPods remain powered so they can learn about your devices and give them the best available Wi-Fi.

Placing your SuperPods

Wi-Fi signal also relies on where your SuperPod are placed. Kitchens, for example, are known to have a negative impact with Wi-Fi signals. If possible, try to place a SuperPod outside of the kitchen to avoid slow speeds or intermittent blips.

Another thing to consider is the distance between your Rebel R1 Router and your SuperPods. If you feel like a SuperPod in particular has a slow Wi-Fi or intermittent outages, try to plug it closer to another SuperPod so it can better serve you the fastest Wi-Fi.
